Built For It All

Learning

How we teach.

One framework, one cycle, one standard of evidence. Whatever room you learn in — a cohort, a workbook, a boardroom — the teaching moves the same way.

The framework

Six subjects. One centre.

This is the diagram every programme is built on. Nothing is taught in isolation, because nothing happens in isolation.

The centre

Understanding yourself

Every subject we teach exists to serve one outcome. Not more information — the ability to read your own system and decide well inside it.

Select a subject to see how it connects.

01Brain

Emotion, stress, attention, identity and the patterns underneath them.

Understanding how attention and stress shape behaviour is what makes your own reactions readable rather than mysterious.

Moment of understanding03

A lesson is not finished when it is understood. It is finished when it is used.

Which is why every idea we teach ends in one honest application.

The learning cycle

Notice, understand, decide, apply, adapt.

The cycle repeats inside a single lesson and across a whole programme, until understanding stops feeling like study and becomes how you think.
  1. 01

    Notice

Identify what is actually happening, without immediate judgement.

  2. 02

    Understand

Learn the mechanism — brain, body, biology, behaviour or environment.

  3. 03

    Decide

Weigh options, priorities and trade-offs honestly.

  4. 04

    Apply

Choose one realistic action for the week you are actually in.

  5. 05

    Adapt

Learn from the outcome rather than treating imperfection as failure.

Frameworks are annotated, argued with and kept. Learning that leaves no trace rarely lasts.

Learning principles

  • Teach mechanism before method.
  • Explain, never prescribe identity.
  • Translate evidence into normal human language.
  • Build judgement, not dependence.
  • Design for a real week, not a perfect one.
  • Say clearly when something falls outside our scope.

Evidence standards

  • We teach from the weight of evidence, not from a single study.
  • We separate what is established, what is emerging and what is opinion.
  • We update teaching when the evidence moves, and say so publicly.
  • We do not diagnose, treat or replace regulated clinical care.
  • We name uncertainty rather than smoothing it over.

Depth, if you want it

The method in detail

Continue
Teach the mechanism, and the method becomes obvious. Teach the method alone, and it expires the moment life changes.
